Zen Riders Membership

Zen Riders MC is a family-oriented association of motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts. It was founded in 1999 in Toronto, Canada. When you join Zen Riders you will receive the benefits of Zen Riders CitiZENship.

Please feel free to come and check us out at Thursday coffee night, Sunday breakfast, or any of the impromptu rides that are often posted on our "publiczens" newsgroup. We meet for coffee and breakfast year round, so there is always someone around to talk to about everything Zen. We encourage you to join our eList, and come out to coffee/breakfast before joining to get a feel for what the club is all about. If you like riding, or you like eating (and quite often we do both!), then the Zen Riders MC might be for you!

In order to join the Zen Riders Motorcycle Club you must:

Complete a membership application form and sign to indicate that you agree to follow all club rules.
Pay the annual membership dues upon joining.
Annual memberships are valid for 12 months from the date the application is accepted.

Membership in Zen Riders can be revoked at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors if a member breaks the rules of the club.

Benfits of Membership

Our members have an opportunity to ride and socialize with a wide variety of fellow members. In addition to exciting ride programs and other events, we make available merchandise and services at reduced cost, to members, their spouses (SO.'s) and children. Some examples:

Pewter belt buckles, jacket pulls and dogtags at club price.
Selected caps and other "ZenWear" products at club prices.
A free email alias "yournickname@zenriders.ca" that points to your existing email address.

Types of Membership

We have three types of membership:

Full		Full members can vote and run for the board of directors.
Significant Other		Significant others who aren't also members can still participate in club activities but aren't eligible to vote or run for the board. By joining as a S/O member, you can gain full participation in the club.
Minor		All minor children (not yet over 18 years) in the same household as the Full member can join for one low fee.

How to Join

To join Zen Riders, complete our form and send it to us. By clicking on the icon below a membership application will open. You can fill it in on the screen and either save (the little disk icon), or print the document. Make sure all the details are shown when you print it. Email this document to info@zenriders.ca, or better yet print it and visit us over coffee or breakfast (you can find details in our ride calendar). We'd love to see you. You will be contacted immediately (if not sooner!) by the Zen Riders membership department to work out the details.
